Domaine & Demeure
Luxury hotels & vacation rental in Languedoc Roussillon
The restoration and operation of châteaux, wine estates and other character buildings as exceptional destinations, retaining and enhancing their essential purpose and character, integrated with and respectful of the local environment – natural, social, cultural and economic.
Resurrecting ‘sleeping giant’ wine estates since 2008 our collection consists of three exceptional properties in the heart of the Languedoc : Château Les Carrasses, Château St Pierre de Serjac and Château Capitoul, each offering it's unique version of understated luxury with stylish accommodation and great facilities in one of the most alluring & unspoilt regions of the South of France.
Like the best French wines, each estate is an assemblage, blending the facilities of a luxury hotel, the privacy and practicality of a villa, the charm and authenticity of a working wine estate, and the style, servce and laid-back ambience of a private club.
Stretching lazily along the Med from the Cote d’Azur to Spain, the Languedoc retains all the timeless charm of the authentic South of France. The world's largest vineyard and the sunniest place in France, our region is a panaché of vibrant fishing villages, endless beaches, rolling vineyards and cypress fringed olive groves, medieval castles perched on snow capped mountains, thriving market towns and forgotten hamlets.
Our estates are pefectly positioned to enjoy the unrivalled diversity of leisure options: laze on the beach or enjoy every imaginable water sport. Explore historic cities – Roman, Medieval and Renaissance – with internationally recognized cultural attractions. While away the days hiking or on horseback, fishing or rock climbing. Wander antique markets to rival those anywhere in Europe. Discover superb cuisine and world-class local wines in simple bistros and Michelin starred gastronomic restaurants…
Easy to access from neighbouring european countries and the UK, served by the A9, A61, and A75 motorway network.
